PURA WELCOMES MORE INTERNS
Since its inception, PURA has been giving young people the opportunity to get work experience to not only help them in their future careers but to also to guide and nurture them towards their chosen career paths. As a result, some of the interns have indeed later become PURA staff.
2013, is no different and in July this year, PURA welcomed five interns from Marina International School in Bakau New town. The interns, all female, were attached to different directorates within the institution for a month working closely with PURA staff in their daily work.
This month PURA is happy to welcome Mr. Anthony Blell, an aspiring young man who aims to train as a lawyer in the UK. Mr. Blell is an economics and politics student who has just completed his A-levels. Prior to his studies in the UK, Anthony studied and completed his IGCSE at Marina International School. He hopes to gain an enhanced insight of a legal work environment as well as the legal documents involved in said workplace.
Through studying economics and politics at A-level, he has gained a greater insight on how law helps maintain stability and peace within today’s society. He will be starting his law degree in September of this year (2013) in Cardiff University and feels this opportunity, as an intern with PURA will be a great start to his law degree.
